Feel 10 Years Younger with Coutts Bank

Over 300 years of history unfold as you walk into Coutts Bank in The Strand, London.  You’re welcomed by tradition fused with 21st century security, yet more than anything you’re welcomed.  I spent a day with the Coutts Women’s Network earlier in the week and was thoroughly looked after.  The Network has been built as a great way to develop people, retain women, and to create personal development and networking opportunities within the Bank. It currently has over 200 members, ranging from bankers to operational staff.

They invited me to speak at one of their events alongside Lisa Oxenham, Beauty Editor of Marie Claire.  For the women at the Bank, in high pressure roles, its important for them to look and feel great, all of the time, so that’s what we focussed on.   Lisa, showed us the Spring trends in fashion & make-up and I introduced my ‘Top 10 Tips on Looking & Feeling 10 Years Younger.”

Andrea Campbell, one of the founding members of the Coutts Women’s Network enthused, “I’ve never seen the 110 strong Women’s Network audience so enthralled by a speaker, Barbara’s content and delivery were spot on; we loved it!  She was mobbed afterwards with questions on the subject and interest in her Meal Plans.  Our event went on well into the evening and I’ve received great feedback from everyone since.”

For me it was a thrill to be invited, to speak somewhere with so much history and interesting to experience their incredible level of hospitality.  The audience picked up on the parts of my presentation about food variety, particularly things like strawberries being great for your health on the inside, vitamin C & K, and on the outside, rub them on your teeth to whiten them!

Coutts’ generosity extended to making a significant donation to my chosen charity The Pan African Heart Foundation and a fantastic bouquet.
