Round Table Childrens Wish - The Walk

Round Table Children's Wish Walk 2011The Walk this year was so much more fun -no ordinary walk at all!  Walkers were handed fairy costumes along the way.  I'm sure many of the walkers thought they could fly to Boscombe Pier and back.

Virgin Active Gym got everyone moving with a very lively hip-hop style warm up and the Samba Panashe band performed getting everyone in the party mood, while Barbara Cox and her team of helpers made sure that everyone got their favourite flavour Nutrichef Flapjack.

Local Firefighters turned up to get a really good turn out of walkers on their way, all hoping to raise lots of money for Round Table Children's Wish (RTCW).

RTCW are a small, national charity that grants Wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. They aim to bring a little bit of magic into these children's lives by creating some special moments and memories.
