Nutrichef to Recycle its Plastic Punnets

Nutrichef is delighted to announce that we’ve found a company that can collect our meal punnets and recycle them. In the past we were told that we’d have to store one tonne of the containers before a recycling company would even entertain the idea of paying for a truck to come and collect them from us.

We had to give up on that idea when we calculated that this meant we’d have to store 87,500 plastic punnets in our business unit!

We were over the moon when we were introduced to Reformed Plastics, a company local to us, that now collects our plastic punnets and turns them into children’s playground equipment and garden furniture.

All you have to do is wash or rinse the punnets and return them to us with your cool bag(s). We are really pleased that we can do something extra to help our communities and the environment.
